How Storefront Glass Repair Works
1. Send Photos for Initial Review
Send photos of the damaged glass, complete storefront opening, surrounding frame, and nearby entrance or display area from a safe distance.
2. Initial Damage Review
We review whether the issue involves cracked glass, shattered glass, an exposed opening, commercial door glass, insulated glazing, or surrounding storefront components.
3. On-Site Assessment & Measurement
When required, we confirm the glass condition, opening dimensions, thickness, storefront framing, glazing configuration, and applicable replacement requirements.
4. Temporary Protection When Needed
If the opening cannot remain exposed and permanent glass is not immediately available, temporary board-up may be appropriate.
5. Prepare or Order the Required Glass
When permanent replacement is needed, the correct storefront glass is prepared or ordered based on the verified dimensions and specifications.
6. Permanent Installation & Cleanup
Replacement glass is installed into the serviceable storefront system, and the immediate work area is cleaned and checked before completion.
Lead times depend on glass type, dimensions, safety-glazing requirements, insulated-glass specifications, fabrication, and availability.
